I applied for a UK Spousal Settlement Visa in 2012 and thought the process was so tedious that someone should make a blog about it so hopefully others will benefit. My husband and I got married in the USA and then I followed him over to the UK after countless hours spent on research and implementation for the visa.

How did you guys get married? Was your husband in the US with a visitor visa? or a tourist one?
He didn’t need a visa. He came in as a visitor on an ESTA (the visa waiver program for eligible UK citizens).
